Climate Data Operators -cdo- Version 0.9.x

This package is a new development at the Max-Planck-Insitut for Meteorology by Uwe Schulzweida. It's able tor read GRIB, NetCDF, HDF, service and extra formatted files and process or convert them. Though you may use it now, it's still under development and will after a transition period replace the PINGO package.

The cdos will run on every UNIX/Linux machine and MacOS X Version 10.3 or later.

The cdos are installed on hurrikan, cross and the central CIS server for LINUX and Solaris 8 in the default path.
