Central Pacific
The coordinates for the area, in which the Central Pacific(might be interesting when talking about El Niño) is situated, go from 120° eastern to 70° western longitude and from 20° northern to 20° southern latitude.
Please click on an image to enlarge it. So you can check if the area you want to examine is included by the unique models.
Green means that there's land where blue stands for water. The light blue colours indicate areas in which both water and land exist.
The land/water mask for BCCM is somehow strange. Nevertheless the model output should be correct.
